The short version: Annorite doesn't collect any information about you. Your drawings and markups stay on your Mac.
The Annorite app
- Annorite works entirely on your Mac. It makes no network connections of its own, has no account or sign-in, and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
- Documents you open, and the markups you make, are read and saved only where you choose on your Mac. When a PDF is protected, Annorite saves your markups in a separate file beside it, or in the app's own folder on your Mac if that location can't be written.
- Your settings are kept in the app's preferences on your Mac. This includes tool styles, appearance, author name, notes and the date you accepted the License Agreement.
- Passwords you type to open protected PDFs are used to open that document and are not stored.
Purchases
Annorite will be sold through the Mac App Store. Apple processes purchases and subscriptions under Apple's privacy policy; we receive no payment details from Apple.
This website
annorite.com uses no cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party scripts, and has no forms. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply. We don't add you to any list unless you ask us to, and we don't share your email with anyone.
Children
Annorite is a professional tool and isn't directed at children.
